The wuliwebclient.exe install program includes the required software for our currently-supported devices (manual entry, pen scanner, Palm application). Double-clicking on the install program presents the standard InstallShield dialog boxes, leading to the Setup Type dialog box.
At this point, the user may choose Compact (manual entry), Palm (manual entry + palm software), Pen (manual entry + pen client), Complete (manual entry, Palm and pen), or Custom. (Complete is the default.) If the user selects Custom, the custom setup dialog is displayed, providing the option to include or exclude Palm and pen support (manual entry is always installed). If Palm support is selected, but the Palm HotSync application is not installed on the client machine, a warning message will be displayed and Palm support will not be installed (although manual entry and the other core files will).
